0ct 28th ~ Transforming Pain and Suffering
with visiting Teacher Gen Kelsang Chöma
Saturday, October 28 | 9:30am – 3:00pm
Sickness and even pain are not inherently bad if it is possible to transform them into something beneficial. The Buddhist perspective offers many effective methods for everyone — Buddhist and non-Buddhist — to transform pain and sickness into jewels of inner wealth, which are the actual causes of peace and lasting happiness.
Gen Kelsang Chöma will explain various meditations practices and profound insights that will help us to accept and re-define our experiences of pain. By transforming our suffering experiences into the spiritual path we can develop an inner strength that pain cannot disturb.
Everyone is welcome.
