The Peaceful Warrior: Developing Humility
Monday, August 21st, 7pm-8:30pm
with Gen Chokyan, Resident Teacher of KMC Tampa
Humility is one of the most important practices for creating a strong foundation for success in our spiritual practice. Mistakenly thought of as a weak or passive mind, humility enables us to see the interdependence between ourselves and others thereby reducing our arrogance and increasing our love, compassion and respect for all living beings. Most importantly, humility opens our mind to be able to learn from everyone and everything. With an open and connected mind we can improve our relationships with others and find lasting peace and happiness.
