Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in the Sunnyslope neighborhood of Phoenix. The Center offers classes in meditation, day courses, retreats, chanted prayers and teachings on the Buddhist way of life in a friendly, accessible environment. The classes at Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix help people, regardless of their religious background, learn practical methods to deal with the challenges in their daily lives, to enable them to experience a happy, meaningful and fulfilling life.
Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix was founded in 2001 under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche; internationally renowned Buddhist meditation master and scholar. Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix is a member of the New Kadampa Tradition-International Kadampa Buddhist Union, a worldwide network of Buddhist Centers that are located in over 40 different countries.
Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix welcomes people of every faith, gender, race and sexual orientation.
We also offer classes in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area including Mesa, Surprise and Sun City. Our sister center Kadampa Meditation Center Arizona is in Tuscon.
