Held on most Tuesdays at 6pm (duration: 30 mins).
On most Tuesdays we do a different short puja (prayers) rotating through the different practices. Please check our online calendar for dates and puja titles. These may include the following:
Vajrasattva Purification Practice: Since purification is the root of future happiness and spiritual realizations, we should strive to cleanse our mind of delusions and negative karma by practicing the meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva. This is a very powerful method of purification.
Heart Sutra: We make prayers to the Great Mother, Prajnaparamita, to overcome all internal and external obstacles and hindrances by reciting the Heart Sutra. We can do this on behalf of ourself or others.
White Tara: White Tara is a long life Buddha whose function is to bestow long life, wisdom and good fortune. It is said that living beings receive Tara’s blessings as swiftly as the wind moves because she is the manifestation of the wind element of the Buddhas.
Avalokiteshvara: Avalokiteshvara is a manifestation of all Buddha’s compassion. He is free from obstacles and has a completely pure body, speech and mind. By relying on him and reciting his mantra, we will increase our own compassion and improve our realizations of the stages of the path to enlightenment.
