Resident Teacher Kadam Michelle Gauthier
Kadam Michelle is a student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Mediation Center Phoenix. She has been studying and practicing Buddhist meditation for over 20 years.

Michelle is known for her effort in benefiting others, compassion, insight and humor. She is an inspiring example of Modern Buddhism in practice. She presents Buddha’s teachings with beautiful clarity, warmth and sincerity, skilfully guiding people from all walks of life to find inner peace and lasting happiness. Kadam Michelle teaches our  Monday night General Program, Foundation Program, and the Teacher Training Program.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tracy Penwell is the Prayers for World Peace teacher. She has been studying at KMC Phoenix since 2007. Her teachings are light and inspiring and she has the ability to show how we can implement practically Buddha’s teachings into our busy modern daily lives.

 

 


 Geronimo Esparza has been studying and practicing at  Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix since 2009. “Geron” is the Meditation for Kids Class Coordinator and one of regular teachers of the class. He is known for his love of Dharma, his lighthearted approach, and deep understanding how to get our junior practitioners to take Meditation and Dharma into their daily life!

 

 

 

 

Andy Peters is a student of the Foundation Program at Kadampa Mediation Center Phoenix. He is a warm hearted and dedicated member of the spiritual community and shows a good example to others. Andy is known for his sincerity, warmth and practical knowledge of Buddhist teachings.

 

 

 

 

 

Jack Lancaster has been attending KMC Phoenix since 2005. Jacks approach to teaching is down to earth, humble and full of wisdom. He teaches classes during the week when needed.

 


 

 

 

 

 

 

Michelle Bales is both the Foundation Program Coordinator and Kids Program Teacher here at KMC Phoenix. She has been studying and practicing at KMC Phoenix since 2010 and is known for her joyful and steadfast approach to meditation and practice.

 

 

 

 

Kelsang Gamo has been ordained since 2005 and is a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Gamo has a warm, friendly and happy demeanor. Her teachings are light and inspiring. She has spent a few months in silent meditation retreat and enjoys sharing the benefits of meditation.

 

 

Steven Roussel moved to Phoenix in 2015 from KMC Colorado to become the Administrative Director of KMC Phoenix. He has been a student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso since 2005. He is known for his simple, modern day approach to Dharma practice. He is currently teaching our Thursday Morning General Program class.
