Gen Kelsang Wangpo
Resident Teacher

Gen Wangpo is a Buddhist monk and has taught Kadampa Buddhism for many years. He most recently had the good fortune to teach in Houston, Texas before becoming our Resident Teacher here in Phoenix.

Gen Wangpo is well known for his practical and skilled way of presenting ancient Buddhist wisdom. He is particularly talented in analyzing subjects deeply, from many angles. He uses stories and analogies to highlight how accessible Buddha’s teachings are, and using these techniques, he is able to deliver Buddhist advice that is effective and produces quick results. Combined with many years of Buddhist learning and decades of teaching, he provides powerful spiritual guidance that benefits all aspects of human life.

We are delighted to welcome Gen Wangpo as our new Resident Teacher in Phoenix. His profound experience and engaging teaching style will undoubtedly enrich our community and support our spiritual growth.

Geronimo Esparza has been studying and practicing at KMC Phoenix since 2009 and is currently studying on the Teacher Training Program. He is known for his love of Dharma, his lighthearted approach, and deep understanding of how to help practitioners incorporate meditation into their daily life.
Patti Blanco has been a student of Kadampa Buddhism, and a member of Kadampa Meditation Center Phoenix, for almost 20 years. She is delighted to share her understanding, experience, and love of Dharma with others.
Rob Anderson has been a student of Kadampa Buddhism since 2002, and is currently in the Teacher Training Program. Over the years, Rob has enjoyed learning and teaching how to integrate these teachings into our busy lives.
